Hands-on IR tracking workshop in the video projection room:
- Different cameras and lenses and angles
- Basic analogue feedback with camera and projector
- Infra red filters and emitters and the impact of different lighting scenarios and camera angles on the tracking.
- Creating your own IR emitter by applying RGB filters to theatre lights or other HOT lights.
- Demo: interactive particles bleeding out of movement.
The LAB:
1. Optimization tips for video playback
- frames, resolutions, resampling, adapting, jit window optimizations, etc
2. Mixing and composing techniques
- fade, pan, chromakey, keyscreen, alphablending, lumakey, jit.op, jit.expr, etc.
3. Color tracking paradigms and practical explanation of jit.findbounds
5. Overview of various approaches for motion analysis, feature extraction (statistics) explained through basic concepts to simplified mathematical demos and etc.
- enhancements and pre-processing.
- differencing
- thresholding and jit.op
- Statistics (jit.3m, jit.findbounds, centroid and contraction, etc)
- Motion post processing
Optimization:
- This patch points to some parameters and procedures to help optimize video playback.
